Yield: 1 loaf (about 10-12 slices) servings
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

Sift in the all-purpose flour into the mixture, and fold in gently using a spatula until fully combined.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Tap it gently on a level surface to remove any air bubbles.
Step 6
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan before removing it from the pan and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 8
Slice the banana bread and serve with a drizzle of honey or your favorite spread. Enjoy!
