Ingredients:

Yield: 2-4 servings
1 cup of dried fusilli pasta
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Step 1
Begin by cooking the dried fusilli pasta in a pot of salted boiling water, according to the package instructions.
Step 2
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and rinse it under cold water to stop it from cooking further.
Step 3
Place the cooked pasta on a paper towel-lined plate and pat it dry with another paper towel, removing as much moisture as possible.
Step 4
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and fry it until it becomes crispy and golden brown, stirring occasionally to ensure that all the pasta gets evenly crispy.
Step 6
Sprinkle the oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the pasta while it is frying. Be sure to keep stirring the pasta throughout this step, so the spices coat the pasta evenly.
Step 7
Once the pasta is crispy and golden brown, remove it from the skillet and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Step 8
Serve the pasta popcorn as a snack or appetizer, garnished with extra herbs or spices as desired.
Step 9
Enjoy!
