This refreshing and healthy smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout snack. The combination of sweet strawberries, ripe bananas, and creamy oat milk creates a delicious and satisfying taste, while the added protein powder helps to fuel your body and keep you full and energized throughout the day.
Ingredients:
Yield: 1-2 servings
1 ripe medium banana, sliced
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup oat milk
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
a handful of ice cubes
Instructions:
Step 1
Add all the ingredients to a blender. Start with the liquid (oat milk) followed by the remaining ingredients.
Step 2
Blend on high speed until the smoothie is creamy and smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add more oat milk as needed.
Step 3
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness, if needed. Add a tablespoon of honey for a sweeter taste.
Step 4
