These juicy salmon burgers are a delicious twist on the classic beef burger. With a flavorful and moist salmon patty, paired with fresh toppings and a zesty sauce, this burger is sure to impress!
Ingredients:
Yield: 4 servings
1 pound of fresh salmon, skin and bones removed
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 egg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 brioche buns
4 slices of tomato
4 leaves of lettuce
4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce
Instructions:
Step 1
Place the salmon in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Do not over-process, as the salmon will become mushy.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, parsley, Dijon mustard, egg, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands to create a uniform mixture.
Step 3
Shape the salmon mixture into four equally-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Step 4
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil to the pan.
Step 5
Once the pan is hot, add the salmon patties. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha to create the zesty sauce.

Toast the brioche buns and set aside.

On the bottom bun, spread a dollop of the zesty sauce. Top with a salmon patty, a slice of tomato, and a leaf of lettuce. Place the top bun on top.
