This classic Italian dish is a delightful balance of pasta, lemon, garlic and cream, making it the perfect go-to dish when you're in the mood for something quick, yet satisfying. The combination of creamy, tangy flavors will leave your taste buds singing!
Ingredients:

150 ml of heavy cream
1 small lemon (zest and juice)
4 tablespoons of butter
1 garlic clove, minced
200 g of spaghetti (serves 2 people)
2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Flakey salt
Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1
Start by boiling a pot of salted water for the pasta. Cook your spaghetti according to the package instructions, making sure to save about 1 cup of pasta water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat a large pan with 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.
Step 3
Mince one garlic clove and add it to the pan, cooking until fragrant.
Step 4
Add 4 tablespoons of butter to the pan and let it melt.
Step 5
Add the zest of a small lemon to the pan, reserving some for garnish later.
Step 6
Squeeze in the juice of the small lemon and let it cook for a few seconds.

Add 150 ml of heavy cream to the pan and sprinkle in some flakey salt.

Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.

Drain your cooked spaghetti, then add it to the pan with the sauce.

Mix the pasta and sauce together over low heat until well combined and lightly coated, adding some of the reserved pasta water if necessary to loosen up the sauce.

Serve hot on a plate and garnish with some fresh parsley and lemon zest to taste.
