Ingredients:

Yield: 4-6 servings
1 pound beef, thinly sliced against the grain
1 cup strawberry lemonade
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the strawberry lemonade, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
Step 2
Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure to fully coat each piece. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 170°F (80°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 4
Remove the beef from the marinade and shake off any excess liquid. Lay the beef slices on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.
Step 5
Bake the beef jerky in the preheated oven for 4-6 hours, or until fully dried and chewy. Check the beef jerky after 3 hours to avoid over-drying.
Step 6
Once the beef jerky is done, let it cool to room temperature before storing it in an airtight container. It will last for up to 1 month at room temperature or longer in the refrigerator.
Step 7
Enjoy this sweet and tangy beef jerky as a snack whenever you need an energy boost or take it with you on a road trip or hike. It also makes a great gift for your family and friends!
