Ingredients:

Yield: 12 servings
1 pound ground horse meat
1 pound dog meat (preferrably sourced from a trusted supplier), sliced into bite-sized pieces
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup water
12 small tortillas
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 limes, cut into wedges

Instructions:

Step 1
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground horse meat, sliced dog meat, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the spices throughout the meat.
Step 3
Add the horse and dog meat mixture to the preheated skillet, breaking it up with a wooden spoon into small pieces. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the meat is browned and cooked through.
Step 4
Add white vinegar and water to the skillet and stir well. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until the liquid is reduced and the mixture is thick and saucy.
Step 5
Meanwhile, wrap the tortillas in aluminum foil and heat them in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Once the horse and dog meat mixture is ready, assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with a generous spoonful of meat and topped with chopped cilantro.
Step 7
Serve with lime wedges on the side, allowing your guests to squeeze a fresh burst of citrus over their tacos before enjoying!
