This dish is a classic Italian pasta filled with a flavorful mixture of fresh tomatoes, basil, and creamy ricotta cheese, and coated in a rich butter sauce.
Ingredients:
Yield: 4 servings
1 package of fresh ravioli pasta
4 ripe tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until tender.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the filling. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, fresh basil, ricotta cheese, and grated parmesan cheese. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the ravioli is cooked, drain and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add the tomato and basil mixture and toss gently to coat the ravioli.

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.

Transfer the ravioli and tomato mixture to the saucepan with the butter and garlic mixture. Toss gently to coat everything in the butter sauce.

Serve hot and garnish with additional grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top. Enjoy!
