This breakfast sandwich is a classic favorite and perfect for a grab-and-go meal. The salty and smoky flavor of the salmon along with the creamy cheese and fluffy eggs are perfectly paired with a soft and chewy bagel. It's the perfect way to start your day with a delicious and satisfying breakfast!

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 servings
1 bagel, sliced in half
3 eggs
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of butter
50 grams of smoked salmon, flaked
2 tablespoons of cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper to taste
2 slices of tomato
2 leaves of lettuce

Instructions:

Step 1
Start by toasting the bagel until golden brown.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Heat up a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, pour the egg mixture into the pan.
Step 4
Gently stir the eggs with a spatula as they begin to cook. Cook the eggs until they are almost set but still slightly runny on top.
Step 5
Spread the cream cheese over one half of the bagel and add the smoked salmon on top. Sprinkle with chopped dill.
Step 6
Using the spatula, gently fold the eggs in half and transfer them onto the other half of the bagel.
Step 7
Add the sliced tomato and lettuce leaves on top of the eggs.
Step 8
Top with the other half of the bagel and serve hot. Enjoy as is or wrap in foil for a convenient on-the-go breakfast option!
